A hydrostatic draw off valve (adjustable bellmouth) is a device used to control the level of liquids in tanks and to draw off /scum from adjacent structure by the use of hydrostatic head.
The device comprises a lower cylinder connected to the outlet/inlet horizontal pipe flange, an inner sliding cylinder and a bellmouth top. Operation of the sliding cylinder is either manual or electrically operated above tank top water level.”
EVS Hydrostatic Draw Off valves are available for pipework sizes of 100mm – 600mm dia (larger upon request) and suitable for flow in either direction. Valves are designed to cater for variable site specific Range of Adjustment (travel) operating levels. Valves can be provided in both manual and electrical operation.
