A sludge valve is used for complete draining of reservoirs, tanks and chambers where silt or sludge may collect. These are mounted in the floor of the tank for effective desludging.
The sludge valve comprises a body and lid, with sealing faces operated via a screwed stem.
EVS sludge valves are available in direct or remote operation from standard manual to site specific electrical actuation including all associated operating equipment.
Available in aperture sizes (dia/sq) of 100mm – 450mm.
